Vireo Arabia is a branch of the Italian company Vireo, specializing in sustainability
standards, which was establish in Saudi Arabia in mid-2023. It focuses specifically on tourism, hotels, and is able to offer GSTC services and develop the market in the region thanks to the agreement established with Vireo. Vireo was accredited by Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) to issue sustainability certificates.

Vireo Arabia is working towards achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision by checking and
auditing hotels compliance to GSTC sustainability standard, which was derived from the sustainability standards of the
United Nations Organization, against traditional operations that have negative
